How Did We Get Here?

We do crazy things like adopting an FIV positive cat & fostering kittens. This is our journey...

Our wish is to enlighten animal lovers everywhere about things like FIV, adopting shelter animals, fostering otherwise homeless or euthanized cats and encouraging everyone to spay and neuter their pets.

It all started in February of 2014 when we adopted Baxter, an FIV positive cat, and welcomed him into our family. Baxter gave us the confidence to start fostering litters of kittens for our local shelter.

Fostering kittens had been a dream of mine ever since 1998 when I fostered my first litter. Scrubby, my original Foster Fail, lived a long and happy 18 years!

This is Baxter!

More About Our Family...

I'm Missi and my husband, John, and I have two kids. Our son, Gavin is 13 & our daughter, Sadria, is 11. We are all very passionate about saving animals and educating our community about fostering and spaying/neutering.  In 2014 we adopted two of the kittens we had been fostering ~litter mates, Noah & Runtz. Additional Foster Fails: 2015, Fluffy Butt and Runtz; 2016, Olivia; 2018, Ava.  We currently have a steady parade of foster cats coming through our house.

This is Scrubby!

Special Thanks To..
