The Beast!

I had to share 2 things today.

First, Baxter is one huge, beast of a cat! I mean, with all that fur, I know he's not quite as big as he looks. But he's solid. He has huge paws and his tail is so long! Last night I walked in to find he had stuffed his big ole butt into my son's 'kid' sized recliner. There was a quilt stuffed in behind him too and it looked like he was going to slide right off at any second. So I grab my camera because, hey, who doesn't love to see a huge cat crammed into a tiny humans chair? And that's when I realized that his tail was hanging over the edge all the way down to the carpet. I knew he had a big, bushy, long tail but this sight really showed off the length and it was just comical! I stood there watching him sleep for a while and he never did slide off. He was seriously wedged in there! There is a picture below for your viewing pleasure although it doesn't really convey just how close he was to sliding off...

Second, I discovered that Scrubby and Baxter have a secret Bromance going! Can you believe it?! I know, right? All this time, the Old Man acted like he couldn't wait for Baxter to hit the road and here they are, found sharing a cushion! I'm on to you, Old Man!
