Tanner At 15 Day Old Litter #8
This is Tanner at 15 days old and he is just too cute! This was only 3 days after we lost his litter mate, Tucker. We're still keeping a close eye on Tanner to make sure getting enough to eat and pooping & peeing. We didn't have him out with us for long but he can smell his mama on the heating pad... That's why he's kind of nibbling on it. He's trying to nurse on it :) Now that Cheri knows she has a healthy baby, and we truly believe that she knows, she is being a model mama. We still feel like she's very young although she must be at least a year old. We've noticed over the last couple years that some of our moms have that true mom instinct and it just takes over. But some, like Cheri, just aren't born with that instinct. Of course, it didn't help that Cheri's kittens were born sick.
