So Close To Adoption! Litters #8 #9 #10 #11
We have been SO busy with 20 cats to care for and love! They are so amazing but, man alive, these babies keep us on our toes! I'm really behind on proofing and publishing my blog posts But I promise I'll get them posted and caught up soon.
One of the things I hope to accomplish with my blogging and videos is that someday, the lovely humans that get adopted by our fosters, will be able to come back to these old posts and vids and get to see their fur baby tiny and growing up with their litter. We just recently started attaching an info sheet to their adoption paperwork so they about the blog and how to find their new baby in these posts. So if you find out you've adopted from one of our foster litters but can't find many posts about your kitty, check back again later. After our litters are adopted out, I have time to go back and make sure all of the posts got published correctly.
Last weekend on the 2nd, 6 of our fosters went to a KittenPalooza adoption event at Petsmart. The first problem we ran into was that Pepper and Gannon were getting sick again and we had to keep them home from Palooza. Then, Palooza was kind of a bust. There were only 7 adoptions and none of our kittens got adopted. It was a holiday weekend so the kittens would have then gone back to the shelter with no chance for adoption for 3 days. We decided to bring all 6 back with us to wait. Not to mention the shelter is filled to capacity. It looks like we will be taking them to the next adoption event which I think is on the 9th. Gannon is still snotty so hopefully he'll be better by then.
Other than recovering from The Snot Fest, all of the cats are doing great! They are all living together now with free roam of the house. I like this because it gives them a chance to get used to living with kids and our adult cats in case their new homes has kids or other cats already. Even Cheri is spending time outside of her 'suite' (our master bedroom and bathroom -her comfort zone-)!
The newest vid I just posted has some kitten adorableness ~first and foremost, obviously, right?!~ and then I show you guys Epona's spay incision and scar as well as her tattoo.
